I wasn’t even 8 years old then. I do not support the institutions of slavery, segregation, and racism. They are contrary to the principles of this nation.
But as I say, I wasn’t even 8 years old then, and if that is good enough to explain away any of Bill Ayers’ actions and Barack Obama’s association with this man, then it should be good enough to exempt me from any financial obligation.
You know something... neither I, nor my father, nor his father, nor even HIS father EVER owned a slave. So, I would like to say that any Black American thinking I owe them because of the slavery issue is nothing more than a fool.

Not all whites owned slaves some whites were slaves. My ancestors to be exact were Scottish slaves here in the states. So if you want reparations simply sue the families of the ones who owned slaves. But first prove you are descendants of slaves then prove the individual family owned your ancestors. Then let's talk. Other wise go to work!
So by the new rules of loose historical association, I believe I am owed restitution from all peoples who currently speak a Romance language: Italy, Spain, France, Latin America, etc.

The Irish side of my family came here in “dissident” ships.
They were treated lower than slaves because they had utterly no “market value”.
Thousands of Irish died from starvation, disease, sickness and neglect in those hellish holds because the ship owners were merely providing a “trash transport service” for the English monarchy.
The Scots side were run off to here during “the clearances’.
