If this goes against the Americans that contribute, changes will become necessary

Should this become an election that shows people who do not pay taxes voting themselves a raise off the backs of taxpayers, we the people of the United States will have to undertake some changes to the voting class.

No person should be allowed to vote unless they have a stake in this country. I define a stake as either owning property, possessing a job or not on government subsidence.

Those who do not contribute to this great land should have no rights to select who should govern them.

“No person should be allowed to vote unless they have a stake in this country.”

May I add: be alive, be a citizen, be a human, be registerd and be able to read and research the candidates.

I totally agree. And to go a bit further:

I am encouraging everyone to start *thinking* now about *acting* soon in every way imaginable if the unthinkable happens. If America falls victim to an internal Marxist coup made possible by ACORN’s communist vote fraudsters, headed by that Kenyan fellow, funded by the Soros/illegal foreign contributions set, and ideologically driven by Ayers et. al., we will be in a “Red Dawn” relationship with the “government”. They will not be legitimate, they will not be serving out of any sense of patriotism or duty, and they will not be capable of achieving anything without the help and compliance of the population. They are in it for the power and the opportunity to destroy the historic America, period. So, our goal will be to take power from them, one tiny piece at a time, here, there, everywhere

So, my recommendation is to think about every government weak spot: Funding (taxes), logistics (roads, electricity), and of course, physical resistance (firearms, explosives). The need to rely on physical resistance means, of course, that we’ve come to the end of the road, and have failed to destabilize the coup using more cerebral means. But the single most important weakness is psychology. They are emotionally unstable, weak, and chaotic. They can’t *stand* the thought of someone not taking them seriously, or worse, making fun of the weaknesses they know they suffer from, and that’s why they will immediately bring back the “Fairness Doctrine”, and worse. Buck Ofama indeed. Ever seen a kid picked on in school until he cries? *That* is the effect we will be aiming for, only the crying kid will be an entire segment of the population - the Vichy governments working in concert with the coup.

That’s enough for now. Pray we can stop thinking about this stuff tonight because of Palin/what’s-his-name upset victory.

Better include GIs and vets. Some of them don't own property and some are on gov assistance.

How Shall We Know When The Republic Is Lost? Ben Franklin had it exactly right: When people realize that they can simply vote themselves money, the Republic is lost.

Good point, but being in the military means you have a job. Being a government worker as well.

Vets or those who have already served should have an exemption as well due to their past service to the country, which owes them a lot.

If a bunch of dissidents back in 1776 could draft something radical like they did against the biggest power in the world, surely this cannot be considered as great a feat.

How do you plan to get a supermajority of people to vote to give up their right to vote?

I do not have the answers. Neither did our forefathers, who had ideals and tried an experiment.

We do have an advantage over them of history in knowing that the daring deeds they accomplished actually worked, and that the socialism that the Dems wish does not.

We have to start doing something NOW and not wait until the next election.

Get involved locally. Write letters to the editor at least once a month on values, the Constitution, etc. Stay up to date on Congressional activity and write emails and send snail mail. Remember one snail mail is the equivalent of one thousand voters who feel the same.

The true Democrats (Blue Dogs) need to wrest control of the Democrat Party and force the Socialists to found their own political party.

This election is a wake up call. If we fall back to sleep, we can expect worse than an anti-American Muslim Marxist running for POTUS the next time.

I totally agree.

I write my congressional delegation via email twice a month and snail mail several times a year. I also kick in some dollars for the ones I like (thankfully I have those type here in Texas) to ensure I am listened to.
