too much reality - yes, that is the pain of this and when the promises fail to materialize, the search for someone to blame will be Randian. In fact, something happened to the thread of time and somehow we all got transported as extras into the filming of Atlas Shrugged. I’m almost sure of it.

Don’t you get it though. This frenzy is due to the 24/7 media onslaught attacking the GOP and Bush. Now, they will praise all the great decisions and improved life in America, and peace around the world. The sheep will hear that over and over and Obama will have 55% approval rating while the Congress works behind the scenes to gut our economy.

Nah

Obama gonna catch all the blame for whatever goes wrong.

There’s no more Bushitler
There’s no more Shrub

There’s a new Chimpy McCokespoon in office and his name is Barack Obama.

Chimpy, eh? Put ‘pappy down on the list, Michelle. I think 9 months of re-education is appropriate. Mock my ears, will he? Send out the local cadre to pick him up.

That was Bush’s name. I was just repeating it.

I know that - but king Obama, the Great and Powerful, is not known for his sense of humor or a historical perspective. I’m afraid it is off to the camp with you. :)

I’ll put a picture of The Dear Leader Obama in every room in my house. If the house catches fire, I’ll leave the kids to die and save the pictures. Is that good enough?

Only if the kids are singing his praises at the time. I’ll send you a hall pass.

That is a valid point. Gansta Rap has glorified ghetto. Many young people where baggy pants hanging below their undies and use that vernacular.

We have to acknowledge that our culture is changing. This message is loud and clear. Republicans not only failed to articulate ideas in a Reaganesque or Gingrich fashion, we failed to understand that this new generation is coming out in force and they reject logic and facts. They are moved by a feeling, by what’s cool. We MUST figure out how to convey our ideas in a “cool” way.

Everyone said McCain’s experience was better. Most felt better in these times with McCain’s preparation. But McCain is not cool and Obama is. Don’t know what we want to change to or care how we change, just want “change” because change is cool.

Appearing racist is NOT cool. I can’t judge your heart or intent, and was wrong to address you the way that I did. But, if we want to be successful in reaching this culture, we must do so in a manner that is “cool”. If we don’t get that we miss it entirely. Ideas don’t count. Takes too much effort to think them. The facts are confusing and they seem to change depending upon who you talk to. Too much effort to research. Don’t want to read the article you send me. I do want to be inspired, so give me some showmanship. The ONLY showmanship we have seen from Repubs in recent years was the RNC convention and flickerings of Palin.

Obama knows how to touch people like this. We don’t.
