Well, thank you, Katie Couric, for your advice. And I won't reciprocate in giving her any advice, that's for sure, because I have respect for her and the profession that she is in.

Ouch! Nice slice into Couric's ribs.

Overall, it was a pretty goods interview since she did not let Larry pin her down on anything, and also subtly answered the questions about how the campaign strategists screwed her without seemingly attacking them.

It is amazing that the McCain campaign would put her on with Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric , but not with Larry King and Jay Leno.

Not that it mattered. McCain never seemed to understand that the election was all about the economy, on which subject he seemed uninformed. And watching him read a teleprompter was painful.
