It is obvious that Maureen Dowd lives in New York and not in Chicago or she would've understood that Obama's only bringing the Chicago machine to town. About the only thing illuminating in her entire column is Dowd's admission that the only qualification Hillary has for the job as a Secretary of State is that she is not John Kerry. Indeed she is not. Kerry's wife had no need to sell out to the Chinese, she acquired her wealth by marrying it. Come to think of it, so did John Kerry.

Politics Chicago style will put bitch Clinton in a striped pant suit while Bill works the crowd picking pockets. Devoid of qualifications, a resume gap which should be obvious even to Barak Obama, he nevertheless offered her the job which traditionally has been considered number two in America. Why? If he left her in the Senate she would still be Hillary but only one voice among a hundred and not particularly prominent by virtue of the leadership of any committee. What does Obama gain?

I think he needs a fall guy. Either he needs cover from ( hopefully) sore heads on the left for failing to give the store away in the international arena, or (probably) cover from complaints from patriotic Americans when he sells our sovereignty just like Bill Clinton sold our missile secrets. Probably Obama figures Hillary is a big enough figure in her own right that she will draw much of the fire.

I'm not here to read MoDo's article, although I sometimes take a guilty pleasure in them. Catherine Zeta-Jones is one of nature's wonders, and it's as much a pleasure to look at her as at a beautiful garden or a gorgeous sports car. I like to see pictures of Ann Coulter, too - she has such pretty hair.

Now, looking at Benjamin Netanyahu (who also has a Picture Rule) is a different sort of experience for ladies ...

i admit CZJ is beautiful and i dont mind the pics. i admit that i take guilty pleasure too, the men threads are a great deal of fun (and often very humorous)...
i personally would not mind seeing a rules thread for Eduardo Verástegui! is he gorgeous!
