A group of supporters has started a petition to get pole dancing into the Olympic games.

Well, it’d be good for TV ratings.
Only if this one can participate...

(G-rated...just funny).
dump curling and add pole dancing
that would definitely improve the Winter Olympics!!
Will the judges be expected to stuff the scores into the ladies G-Strings?
Ratings bonanza. Hey, if trampoline is an Olympic event, why not this?
I say yes!
“All over Toronto, studios are coming up with new ways to wake up peoples workouts with exercises aimed at having fun, like sexy stiletto salsa, sensual pole dancing and playful hula-hoop cardio.
“Exotic workouts, made popular by Carmen Electras Aerobic Striptease DVDs, have made their way onto the scene with strip aerobics, sensual movement and pole dancing.
“Felinity Fitness in Toronto, offers exotic movement classes to help women develop a sense of how their bodies move with floor, door-frame and pole components.
“These classes are all about toning up without sacrificing curves as they offer an incredible core workout without the labor of sit-ups.
“Alison Joy, founder of Felinity, said the programs offer full body conditioning through slow controlled movements, while allowing participants to let go of their inhibitions and express their sensuality.”

In traditional dress? Where do I sign????
Those two look like they might be good at something else as well.
Say what you will - but there was a gal who “danced” at a place called “Buster’s” in Huntsville, AL in the middle 70’s who was 1st class Olympic Material by any measure one could use......
She stopped all conversation once she got started......
Needless to say, she married very well and left the stage.
LOL *snerk*
HELL YEAH!!
I bet there’s some Polish girls in the pic that could rock my mind!
Greeeat. Just what we need to see on TV, 12-year-olds from China pole-dancing. Yippee.
well they have allowed sillier events as demonstration sports.
It just depends on what they do with the poles and the time they are going to show the competition.
(honest honey, I bought the olympic package for cable tv...)
I have seen a few, very few, great pole dancers. Those girls were not only talented but pretty brave given the fact they faced a 10-12 foot drop headfirst with zero padding.
That doesn’t mean it deserves Olympic status, but it sure beats trampoline.
:’) Seems like a good time for a link to photos of that mullah’s daughter in the UK who works as an exotic dancer, but I can’t remember enough of the details.
Oh, to be a talent scout! ;^)
