Winning the Big12 South could be a detriment. Missouri is playing well.

You didn’t get the joke. There was the great landrush when the terretory was opened. The Sooners were the folks who snuck across the line and claimed the choice plots of land. “Sooners” did something illegal, they were immigrants, and most of my Oklahoma buddies get it! Lighten Up!

OU should be on NCAA probation right now and not even be playing for a bowl. Those Cheaters always get a slap on the hand from the useless NCAA.

Saturdays Oklahoma Vs Oklahoma State game is greatly anticipated.

OSU has got some horses and can if given the opportunity lay the wood to a team like OU.

OU against TTU looked like the old Indianapolis Colts.

Had Big Game Bob wanted to he could have run up the score instead of pulling the first reamer's after the first play of the fourth quarter.

Go Sooners

I have to assume the Texas win over OU was a fluke and that the Okies are capable of annihilating anybody at present.

Anybody outside of Gainesville, that is.

Ummm.....no. Texas beat OU on a neutral field. That’s important to remember. Hook ‘em Horns!!!

Still a fluke. Sounds like the horns musta won on a day when several key okies had the flu or something.

There’s no debate. Texas beat Oklahoma.

Then by that logic, it should be Texas Tech, because Texas Tech beat Texas.

There is very clearly a debate, but it seems like the choice should be made on who is playing best now--and based on the beat down that OU put on TT last week, it ought to be OU.

A win by Missouri makes them the Big XII champion and automatically puts them in a BCS game. Then the South team that didn't get to go to the Big XII title game would very likely play for the National Title. (against Florida).

I think this is a more disturbing scenario for the BCS folks than they would like to let on. It puts them in the uncomfortable spot of having to choose a team that didn't even qualify for its conference title game into the National Championship game, and that just seems wrong.

But what else can they do? The next choice would be USC based on current ranking, but how? If Oregon State wins out, USC won't win the Pac-10, and how can you choose USC over Penn State, a team that blew out Oregon State? Of course, Florida against Penn State doesn't seem that exciting, so we can probably rule that one out.

Things could also go haywire if OU loses next week at OSU. That would put Texas Tech in the Big 12 title game, and assume then that it beats Mizzou--does Florida play Texas Tech in the National Title game? Or does Texas?

These things usually have a way of working themselves out by the time the title game rolls around, and I assume that it will this year, too. But things could get weird before it's all done.

Anybody have any idea how the Okies were consistently genning all those open-field, one-man-to-beat situations for DeMarco Murray? I haven’t seen anything like that since wishbone days.

If that makes you feel better....you want us to give you the win back? LOL

If Missouri wins Big XXII. I would love to see Penn State play a Big XXII school instead of Oregon State just to see how they measure up but that seems impossible. I would also like to see USC against Big XXII or SEC runner up.

I have a feeling that Florida will get in national championship game with all due respect to 'Bama.
