By “legacy”, I was referring to the agency that owned it before we merged and tried to get our systems to talk to each other. We sometimes identify ourselves and our systems by “Legacy A, Legacy B” (even though it’s taboo), which gives the person you’re talking to a clue which branch of the tree you sprung from.
