Hilton execs stage orgy at Minneapolis hotel, (law)suits allege

Two former Hilton Minneapolis employees say they saw executives of the hotel having a drunken sex party in a banquet room and their complaints about what they encountered cost them their jobs.

The allegations, which the Hilton denied Thursday, are made in lawsuits filed last week in federal court by Deborah Smith, 43, of Coon Rapids, and April Bezdichek, 25, who now lives in southern California.

Smith, who was night manager of the hotel's Skywater Restaurant from April 2006 to December 2007, contends in her suit that she was subjected to "unwelcome sexual conduct" and retaliation for going to management, then eventually fired.

She alleges that she opened the door to a hotel banquet room and saw "an orgy involving Hilton upper management."

"She saw various Hilton executives inebriated and engaging in sexual acts," the suit continues. "In fact, she observed Hilton executives on top of a table engaging in sexual activity."

If this story is true, it leads to one question.

Wouldn't you think these Hilton execs could have gotten a room (or rooms) at the hotel instead of getting busy in a banquet room.

Comments or opinions - anyone?

You do not become a hotel executive with Hilton by being stupid, that is reserved for the heirs of the Hilton fortune. However, Paris has exploited her notoriety to the tune of many millions. Perhaps she is not stupid.

This smells fishy to me.

No pun intended, but I guess it would be a clever one.

I’m not buying this for a minute. In a banquet room, when as you said they could have any suite in the house?

Uh, no thanks. Top Executives at Hilton are all likely to be prunes, i have little desire to see anyone over 35ish nude.

As ‘Hilton Honors’ Member, would like to know who gets the ‘Honors’ points for banquet room for an orgy? It would be soooo unfair to distribute the points to everyone?

Seriously, the idea of an office party is lame enough (really, I think most employees would rather just get a little gift or something in addition to their bonus instead of attending one of these stupid parties), but serving alcohol at these things has always baffled me. It makes people do ridiculous things in a tense environment. I can’t imagine most people would want to sleep with most of their co-workers if they were sober. Ugh.

I please guilty.

I am one of those who had a little too much to drink at a work party and ended up going home with one of the women from work.

It was a good time for both of us and I remember all of it.

Needless to say, I felt a little awkward for several days afterwards when her and I would be working on a project together.

And thankfully, she didn’t get pregnant and both of us were clean, disease-wise.

Mr. Lippman: It's come to my attention that you and the cleaning woman have engaged in sexual intercourse on the desk in your office. Is that correct?

George Costanza: Who said that?

Mr. Lippman: She did.

George Costanza: [pause] Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorence on this thing, because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon... you know, cause I've worked in a lot of offices, and I tell you, people do that all the time.

Mr. Lippman: You're fired!

George Costanza: Well, you didn't have to say it like that.
