Chicago (AP) -- When it comes to her weight, Oprah Winfrey has always been straightforward. The talk show queen continues the honesty, saying in the January issue of "O" magazine out Tuesday that she now weighs 200 pounds and has "fallen off the wagon" when it comes to healthy living.

I have no sympanthy for Oprah. As a former obese person, I took the surgical path (Duodenal Switch Surgery) and have been healthy and happy ever since. Oprah, on the other hand has continually slammed surgical intervention for obesity proclaiming that diet and exercise is all you need. Guess what O, it doesn’t work well at all, does it? 95% of people who lose significant weight with diet and exercise regain it!! Wise up and get to a surgeon who can help you solve this problem.
