Giant Snowzilla Snowman Is Banned

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Dec. 22) - Snowzilla is no more. Municipal officials in Anchorage have given a cease-and-desist order to builders of the giant snowman that made appearances the last three years in an east Anchorage neighborhood. The giant snowman was a favorite for photographers and camera crews from Russia and Japan filmed the temporary sculpture. Snowzilla in 2005 rose 16 feet. He had a corncob pipe and a carrot nose and two eyes made out of beer bottles.

I am thinking if there were a ‘per pound’ tax on snowmen the government would have no problem with it. I would have kept building and put a shower curtain around him or something........just to spite them. What if the owner of the property had a beautiful wife or daughter and there was a lot of traffic from people driving by in hopes of seeing them? Would the wife or the daughter be forced to stay inside the home?

...a public nuisance and safety hazard.That's crazy. So what if it attracts people to the neighborhood? I remember back when I attended college(late '80s) some plus size women erected a 6' snow phallus. It was a remarkably well done sculpture. They had real talent. Watching the security guards chop it up in the morning was an uncomfortable sight.
