I would think the next thing to try would be an alternate DNS provider. DNS is the service offered by your provider that turns our “www.freerepublic.com” into an IP address. This service is usually put on overloaded servers, unfortunately.

I use OpenDNS, a free service, instead. They offer a much better service. Easy instructions at the link.

I use satellite service cause I live in the country, can I use the Open DNS?
