On this, the third Christmas that we've been following the Haditha travesty, I wanted to give a seasonal shout-out to all the pals I've made over these past three years.

Many are known to me, and to each other, only by screen names on Free Republic. Still, you're all like my extended family, and so here's a list of my Christmas wishes for you...

For Girlene, a millionaire Boyene or a pony (your choice).

For ticked, a blog that has more readers than the New York Times (God knows you deserve it).

For lilycicero, a million smiles all your own (for all the smiles you've given to others).

For jazusamo, a Browning BAR Mark II Lightweight Stalker, dry boots, and a clear shot at a 12-point.

For Lancey Howard, the winning hand.

For xzins, your own TV show where you can tell it like it is.

For the Graysons, the Bronze Star that politics denied the lieutenant.

For 4woodenboats, a schooner in Gloucester and the time and crew to sail it home.

For the Sharratts, Congressman Murtha on the stand and under oath.

For bigheadfred, a nephew free at last.

For fatima, even more answered prayers.

For brityank, Jessica Alba will finally admit you are her secret passion.

For Chickenhawk Warmonger, a dollar for every time you hit the proverbial nail on the head.

For SandRat, well-deserved applause.

For jveritas, more opportunities for you to spread your knowledge and faith.

For jude24, a pair of balanced scales that tilt just slightly in your favor.

For dynachrome, the joyous company of prosperous infidels.

For smoothsailing, full sails and a warm breeze at your back.

For Gene Eric, five golden pings.

For Just A Nobody, a starring role in the remake of Red Dawn.

For the Chessani and Wuterich families, the end, at last, to the government's persecution and years of perfect happiness to make up for the years that have been taken from you.

May next Christmas be a time to reflect on justice at last, the exoneration of all eight Marines. Until then...

Just coincidental the Obama’s Kenya family, who have in the past said that they were present at his birth in Mombasa have been recently put under a gag order.Wonder if he's gone there?
