CAN YOU CRACK A CODE? Try Your Hand at Cryptanalysis
Last year, we challenged you to crack a code created by the “cryptanalysts” in our FBI Laboratory, who are experts in breaking ciphers of all kinds.
Tens of thousands of you did so.
Are you ready for round two? We hope so. But bear in mind, this year's code is slightly more difficult.
Once again: if you want a primer on basic cipher systems and how to break them, see the article "Analysis of Criminal Codes and Ciphers."

I can’t answer for an agency I don’t work for; however for those who do want a job with the FBI, here is the link:
I’m a nervous flyer. I work the codes to keep my mind off of “what was that” Once they seated a panicky lady next to me. She was almost in my lap. I told her look..let me show you something. She looked at me incredibly and told me she could not even concentrate about something like that on the ground. She needed comforting so I reluctantly put my magazine down. “What was that noise”? My husband leaned over and whispered in my ear”will you and your friend both get off my lap?”
That’s it.
I’ll be an underground mole/spy/thing.
