“According to the media, in 19 days, we’ll all have access to free healthcare, global warming climate change will be neutralized, we’ll have no soldiers in Iraq, Bin Laden will be captured, the economy will improve, and (rumor has it) we’ll all get a free pony. What’s not to like about that?”
On top of all that...according to the lady at a local Snappy Mart in North Central Ar., Obama WILL NOT LET GAS PRICES RISE. I was so freekin’ happy to hear this tidbit of information.
Actually, you are not far from the talking points. AGW will be shown to be (a hoax) no longer a problem and the O’bummers and Goreys will claim credit for solving the problem, thereby saving the world.

I doubt they will ever admit it was a hoax (imho it has elements of hoax, delusion and truth, in proportions of something like 30/60/10) but they will claim to have solved the crisis on evidence at least as strong as the evidence that ever was a crisis.
I don’t know what the solution is going to be, but I know it’s going to be expensive.

I was exhausted with Dubya somewhere between Prescription Drug Entitlements, the “I will sign McCain Feingold and the courts will rule it unconstitutional” unconsititutional Campaign Finance Reform, Dubai Ports Deal in which he and others painted patriots as racists, and the Euro-socialist Mega-Bailouts.
Just finding it hard to see where Bush ends and Obama begins because there is no diff between big intrusive government (R) and big intrusive government (D).

If you want to get really upset...look at eBay and all the commerative Obama plates and things. You’d think he had been some sort of world hero. This hype is absolutely disgusting. He is our president, I will give him that, even if it came about because of the media and hoodwinked people. But this adoration hoopla is totally unbelieveable. I keep thinking...”The bigger they are, the harder they fall.” Let’s just hope that is true, very soon.
