I really did get three nice new pairs of socks for Christmas.

One pair is pristine...I still haven't worn them yet.

But it has turned quite cold over the past couple of days, so I imagine that final pair won't be new for very long.

Costco had some very nice Merino wool socks on sale the other day, 4 pairs for $9.99. I bought two packages for a total of 8 pairs.

Mrs. L and I have very toasty warm feet. And that is a very good thing indeed.

Those hold up pretty well too... although my favorite socks are made by Filson.

Yes, the Merino wool socks are nice.

My favorite are the Hanes "World's Softest" socks. They really are soft, the toe-stitching is practically invisible and they're durable.

LOL - I am almost as concerned (and somewhat appalled) about all of those mismatched socks as I am for that poor kitty.

Mrs. L and I have very toasty warm feet. And that is a very good thing indeed.

I complained because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet.......So I stole his shoes.

What the heck--- He didn't need them.

There's a lot I hate in this world but the thing that I really, really hate is cold feet. I mean I hate cold feet with the white hot intensity of a thousand burning suns.

So I'm always on the lookout for a good deal on nice, fuzzy, soft, warm socks.

I'll be checking out those Hanes socks. Thanks for the tip.

I have somce Hanes fuzzy socks on right now. Navy blue ones. And slippers. It's in the 30s outside right now.

I hate cold feet, too. In fact, I just hate cold.

Might I recommend a nice union suit?
