Thanks, CE. I like the part of being waved through Vancouver because of the British colony BC.

Glasgow to Vancouver seems far for a jet w/o refueling—did they go over the Artic Circle route?

So Bellingham would be the most likely P.O.E.? Would records from 1961 still exist there? Will be interesting to find out.

Hmmm....maybe we should ask the Mormons....? They seem to have a solid handle on geneology and record-keeping.

Someone would have to file a FOI request to access Immigration documents for that time period. There would be NO birth certificate kept at any point of entry!
