Musician Chris Llewellyn was among those who sprang into action after a man shoved a flight attendant and tried to open an exit door. Chris Llewellyn was staring out the window of Delta Airlines Flight 110, watching the landscape of Los Angeles rise up toward the plane, when he heard the screams of a male flight attendant: "Help me! Help me!"
Turning quickly, he saw that a passenger had pushed the attendant to the floor and was trying to open the rear emergency exit.

"I thought this guy was going to open the door. I was thinking, 'I'm not going to go down with the plane,' " said Llewellyn, 26, a 6-foot guitarist, who was flying into Los Angeles from Atlanta on Wednesday morning for a TV appearance with hip-hop artist Asher Roth.
Along with half a dozen other passengers, Llewellyn ran down the aisle into the galley area and jumped on the man, pulling him away from the door.

The Spirit of Flight 93 ... “Let’s Roll” bump.
This was a test to see how the crew and passengers would react. Good job to all who subdued this man. By the way, is his ethnicity known? Does anyone want to bet against his being Middle Eastern?
The Flash?
I would have had my hand firmly planted around his trachea the second I had opportunity to do so. Squeeze first and ask questions later.
Ae you sure? If this is a picture taken inside the subject aircraft I would be more inclined the perp is the man in the middle. It doesn’t make sense that law enforcement would let the perp lead the way out. He would be sandwiched between them—handcuffed or not.
That’s just what the caption says. The two guys behind him seem to have police uniforms while said perp is wearing an ‘oakland’ sweatshirt. We may simply may not be seeing someone in front of him due to the camera angle or how far ahead he was.
I just looked again, he is between two police, the one in the front is just blurred because of movement. Camera phones are bad for that.
Should have killed the turd.
No, the guy with the Oakland sweatshirt. The blur is probably another police officer. Camera phones are bad at compensating for movement.
LOL. Well the flash is in front.
So...difficult...to...resist...joke...about...male...flight...attendant... Arghhhh!
