Ann is one of the most effective weapons in the conservative arsenal. I'm beginning to think she's the only effective weapon.

She has liberals foaming at the mouth because she mocks them and exposes their intellectual bankruptcy with humor and biting insight.

We're at war with the left - we need a thousand more Boudiceas like Ann.

The message is lost by her need to go overboard. Sometimes you can go too far. Cosby made the same points about single parents, called the men out who fail to step up and did a much better job.

You have to think that book cover is a call back to the naughty teacher threads. How funny would it have been had it been reworded and “Not Guilty”? Would get many “Definately not guilty”

"I would bet she's late 20's or at most early 30's."

Ah, you are a gentleman and a scoundrel......er, scholar, LOL.

Ann was born on December 8, 1961, making her 48 years old.

“They could not go one on one with her.”

Hell, they can’t go five on one...as proven on The Spew.

RE: "The message is lost by her need to go overboard."

I respect your opinion of course but my opinion is that our enemies make Ms Coulter the issue and that would be so no matter how nice she was.

Look how nice President Bush has been to the Rat Party (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party). He was still the "issue." To wit, liar, dry drunk, torturer . . . .

I am fond of remembering David Horowitz's take on his former comrades. The issue is not the issue. I take that to mean issues are weapons. Our enemies' intent is to destroy us. Too many conservatives flounder trying to respond to "issues" while the enemies have moved on to another phony issue. Mean while the message is lost in the chaos.

Horowitz pointed out that THE issue is victory over America -- or as I am wont to report, "Bring it all down, man."

To all who think that conservative should "tone it down."

I remember Henry "Scoop" Jackson, Hubert Humphrey, Harry Truman -- I knew the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party was a friend of America. The Rat Party is no Democratic Party.

No matter how polite conservatives try to be the Rats ain't interested in discourse! Those days are gone.

Have you ever watched Jon Stewart? He shrieks, snarls, F-bombs, smirks and conducts an intentionally deceitful "news" show that is lapped up by a low-IQ and high-narcissism viewership. Whenever he gets called on spreading lies he claims it's "just for laughs."

Ann is Emily Post and Lavinia Howell compared with Stewart. Yet, none on the left is ever embarrassed by Stewart.

Yea, I’ve seen Jon Stewart. Like many on the left, he’s ignorant and abnoxious. Spreading lies isn’t funny and that’s why I don’t watch him and others.

Folks piled on because of my opinions about Ann Coulter. I wish I hadn’t said a thing because they misunderstood or vehemently disagreed with my point.

Like I said farther up the thread, I’ve even bought one of her books and will probably buy more because I agree with her opinions on the issues.

People find her over-the-top because she does not sentimentalize her encounters with her opponents. She knows they would like to destroy her and refuses to pretend that she wants to be anything but a combatant. And her critics also take what she says out of context. They think every time they do it they have the means to put her out of business.

Then John Edwards, poor thing, is discovered to have a love child, a crazy skanky mistress, and to be betraying his dying wife.

I guess she could be all collegial, like opposing attorneys are when they are haggling over the fate of some hapless client. But her blood doesn't run cold, oddly enough, the way of most lawyers. Look at Lindsey Graham this week, all grovelly. He looked so weak and pathetic and old in Obama's den. Now, that's a lawyerly guy. Graham believes in comity. I find it strange sometimes that Coulter was ever a lawyer.

Thanks for your input. I don’t want Ann to become a weak-kneed wimp either. I was watching Laura Ingraham tonight and got to thinking that she’s a good example of the kind of intelligent, forceful speaker that I find more to my liking. She’s another brilliant Conservative, IMO.

You think Ann Coulter's methods are just childish fun, but again, she is a reaction to liberalism and more specifically feminism. Every biting word of hers is a DIRECT REACTION to a liberal slam or liberal lie. Nothing she has ever said or done has been out of line, not even the comment she made about Edwards, because that had well-placed point to it also. It all has a point to it. I love all her books and I read almost every article she writes, because she is a genius along the line of another Greatest at what he does, Rush Limbaugh. Ann Coulter is the greatest conservative feminist writer of all time. Like I said, just like old JC, you either love her or hate her, you can't be stuck in the mushy middle, that barren wasteland most of America has run away to.

Thank you for your comments about Ann. I understand where you’re coming from and see that you are an admirer of hers.

Love your tagline. We are HUGE Sarah Palin supporters. Unlike some Coulter supporters, we do not support Palin because of her looks, we support her because of what she stands for and what she stands up for. :)

Year after year, trolls thinking they are being original, lecturing us on Rush, Ann, Rummy, Delay, Allan, GWB ...on how “conservatives must be nice, or our issues will not be heard!”.

Are we getting old or what!

LOL

That's pretty damn funny considering who will be the front runner in 12.
