Usually there is some sort of decrease in the celebration...but the music is still playing etc.
That was one HECK of a hit...Clark lowered his shoulder, clean hit. BOTH guys had their bell rung big time...
Simms says not helmet to helmet....I must be seeing things
It only ended up helmet to helmet because McGahee lowered his head at the last second. Shoulder hit first. Clean hit.
Classless music playing is the same as cheering....
Not able to watch game much, what happened?
Well, the Cards will present more of a challenge than the Ravens do, offensively. And juxtapose the rookie, Flacco, with a SB winner in K Warner. I give the Cards a decent chance, but I’d guess they’ll be 7 pt dogs.
Simms and Nance were laughing until he did not move now they are covering up by acting all mellow.
i.e., Carson Palmer
IS this a knee injury? I just turned the game back on
wow that replay was horrific..
Well this is Pittsburgh, not Philadelphia.
I remember pretty specifically that the helmet-to-helmet protections were put in place to prevent the use of a helmet as a weapon during a hit or tackle. That was pretty clearly the case here. The objective was to ring the man’s bell.
I suppose....I can’t get over how low class that music playing is....
That’s one dumb guy in the sound booth following house rules and not realizing when it’s best to ignore house rules. House rules in most stadiums is to turn on the music when there’s a stoppage, most guys in the sound booth are smart enough to know injuries are different, apparently not this one.
The hardest hit I have ever seen in a football game. Receiver and defender hit head-on, both at full speed. Defender appeared to be knocked out and the receiver in going off on a back/neck board.
Exactly. Good analysis. Steelers will need to score more points because the Cards offense is that much better than the Ravens.
They don’t give a s#!t as long as their team wins.
Rothlisburger was taken off the field like that in their last game against Cleveland. Fortunately they had a week off and he is OK.
McGahee took a super hard hit, got knocked out cold, and has now been carted off the field. he showed visible signs of movement so hopefully he’s OK.
