Just pointing out that everybody involved has better things to be doing than paying attention what the sound guy is doing. If you really want to be mad about it that’s your prerogative, but you probably have better things to be paying attention to also.

My husband says that it was head butt because the guy had his arms up to his chest. He says a clean hit would have had the arms open to grab the guy.
A strong guy like that can survive a broken neck, though, with little residual damage. The muscles can actually hold everything in place.
I know because my daughter suffered a broken neck while swimming and it was never diagnosed until years later, when they did an x-ray.
Geeze an hour and a half later and you’re still insulting me constantly. Obsess much. You get lost.

Well Rush will be bragging tomorrow about how he correctly predicted it would be the Cards and Steelers in the SB.
Pitt is solid. I don’t wish to take anything away from them but they just never impress me with their wins. It’s hard to define. I think back to the prolific Cowboys SB teams of the early 90’s and know they would destroy this team or even last yr’s SB winner. The 95 49er club would likely dominate this yr’s likely champion, whomever that turns out to be. We like to think that this era is better than the last, or that the level of play is raised incrementally with each successive decade...I’m not so sure. I think we have stronger competition as the talent is more evenly distributed around the league currently. Maybe this was the aim of parity. I’m not adverse to seeing the Cardinals finally make it, though, I must say.

Well the NHL hockey All Star game is next weekend and there’s always the Australian Open. Also, from I see on TV a man is going to walk on water in DC this week.
That’ll be the one good part of them moving the pro-bowl into the media week, it’ll give them something else to talk about for a couple of hours. Still won’t watch the pro-bowl, it’s the worst all-star game in sports, but it might make media week slightly less boring.
But according to Rush's Environmentalist Whacko Football picks, he has to go with the Cardinals: "Who are Steelers? They pollute the air with their factories, make steel which is used in military weapons. While Cardinals are innocent birds, who are dying because of all of the pollution emitted from the steel mills."
