God, help this fellow believer. Strengthen him in this time of testing, giving him the wisdom he needs. And by shielding his wife by your Holy Spirit, and protecting her from this evil that is assaulting her. Let your light shine into her troubled heart, breaking up the darkness that is blinding her, Lord. We are like sheep, lead her back to you, Lord. Amen.
God bless you both. May your hearts be opened and healed.
Prayers for you and your wife. And if you haven’t seen Fireproof, see it.
Prayers to you MM that you receive the guidance to get through this as God intends. Remember to follow your heart and gut and don’t let confusion reign because of conflicting advice.
God bless,
Mc
Prayers for you as well. These are tough time we are all going through - many marriages are under strain! I will pray for you daily!
You have my prayers.
But, prayers alone are often not enough. I’d heed the advice of a couple of the above posters. There are two sides to this story — learn her side. Women don’t leave 30-year spouses for no reason ... find out the reason. And, if the reason is a correctable problem ... try to be the husband she needs you to be. If it isn’t a correctable problem (she’s got another guy, or something), then at least you know it wasn’t you.

Thank you so very much. I’ll expand on this in another reply, but someone said there are two sides to every story and this is of course true without fail, true here. I am imperfect and have failed on many accounts and many occasions. I have confessed my shortcomings, sincerely repented when appropriate, and will do whatever necessary to repair my wrongs. I have made all of this clear to her and will continue to do so.
Again, thank you so very much for the blessings of friends who understand and help with prayer.

Thanks, Cherokee. I will attend to those things for sure.

Definitely not.

Thanks, Koraz. I know He can and hope He will. He gave us free will and doesn't require us to listen, but I have seen Him punch through free will before with unavoidable truth, and that's what I'm hoping and praying for here.
