I don’t have any at home but I enjoy deadheading the ones here—I get to keep the petals! :) I use them for potpourri, etc. They will keep their fragrance a long time.

Definitely not going out. Looking forward to my daughter and hubby getting home. I’ll worry till they are home. People drive crazy in the weather.

Things just disappear sometimes. Now we know we don’t make mistakes like that...right??? LOL~~~

We have Bluejays, different from your Scrubjays, which are beautiful. We have some hawks. We don’t have many grasshoppers...we used to when I was little because we caught them and made them spit tobacco. Have you ever heard of that?
The boys knew more about that than we girls. Sounds so cozy and romantic, huh? LOL~~~~

We do have a good variety of birds though, and I love them so much.

Not so bad at the moment and I only see a coating but we are in the deep zone according to the forecaster a half hour ago.

A couple hours ago snow was blowing horizontal.

I like best to cuddle up to my console here. Three computers, TV on the wall, police scanner, and front yard video monitor. And coffee.

Hmmmmmmm......can't say that I have. But I can say that I wouldn't confront one of our grasshoppers, not without a whip and a chair. LOL. I am telling you, they are big gnarly brown things that freak me out because you never know which way they are going to jump. I remember the little green grasshoppers from back east, they bear no resemblance to what they call grasshoppers out here. LOL

They didn’t call off school? Mass. was canceling today’s classes and meetings yesterday.

A lot of the unpredictability is due to the ocean effect, it is so variable.

We have gusts every minute or two that blow the snow in a horizontal direction, too. Fortunately, the snow is very light and dry.

Hi LUV1 - things are going well - we had some snow showers last night and this morning but nothing to write home about.

If it were state of the art it’d be great, but the computers are 3-7 years old and slowing down in their old age. Next spring I’ll celebrate 25 years with home computers and it is still exciting.
