Finally a movie about Ronald Reagan.
If young Americans knew the truth about Reagan, we would all be in better shape.
God Bless Ronald Reagan.
Thank you, Mr. President.
Make that greatest of the 20th century.
LLS
Depends. Was Babs Strident involved in the production?
>>Make that greatest of the 20th century.<<
Right on! God bless Ronald Reagan.
Remember when he told Congress to “make my day” a la Clint Eastwood and held up the veto pen?
Happy Reagan’s Birthday! This is a date our nation should celebrate instead of honoring far lesser men.
God, I miss him.
1981-1988 was just an awesome to have been a kid for me, and Reagan was one of the big reasons.
And no I didnt worship him like the Obama-bots, he actually made YOU feel proud of your Americanism, and always talked to our better side, and did not appeal to your inner welfare check.

"THANK YOU ALL FOR THE KIND WORDS"!
I remember his foreign policy freed 60 million people from the oppression of the soviet criminals without firing a shot. The people of eastern europe consider Reagan their greatest friend and hero.
Ping for later viewing...

Ronald Reagan, Lech Walensa, Pope John Paul II and Maggie Thatcher. Good team.
Peace Through Strength!
“THANK YOU ALL FOR THE KIND WORDS”!
That’s very nice. Thank you.
My screen kinda clowded up for a minute.
Today’s my little granddaughter’s 7th birthday. I can’t think of a better person for her to share a birthday with.
I do too. I think about that time about how nice it was to go through the day and not have to worry about which freedom might I lose today?
Ronald Reagan was from this time:
THE OLD PATHS
I liked the old paths, when
Moms were at home.
Dads were at work.
Brothers went into the army.
And sisters got married BEFORE having children!
Crime did not pay;
Hard work did;
And people knew the difference.
Moms could cook;
Dads would work;
Children would behave..
Husbands were loving;
Wives were supportive;
And children were polite.
Women wore the jewelry;
And Men wore the pants.
Women looked like ladies;
Men looked like gentlemen;
And children looked decent.
People had Sunday clothes
and wouldn’t think of wearing
jeans or shorts to church.
People loved the truth,
And hated a lie;
They came to church to worship,
And didn’t mind if the preacher ran overtime!
Hymns sounded Godly;
Sermons sounded helpful;
Rejoicing sounded normal;
And crying sounded sincere.
Cursing was wicked;
Drinking was evil;
and divorce was unthinkable.
Politicians were interested in the next generation
more than the next election.
The flag was honored;
America was beautiful;
And God was welcome!
We read the Bible in public;
Prayed in school;
And visited friends and relatives at their homes!
To be called an American was an honor and worth dying for;
To be called a Christian was worth living for;
To be called a traitor was a shame!
Sex was a personal word.
Homosexual was an unheard of word,
And abortion was an illegal word.
Preachers preached because they had a MESSAGE;
And they preached with COURAGE and CONVICTION!
And Christians rejoiced because they had the VICTORY!
Preachers preached from the BIBLE;
Singers sang from the HEART;
And sinners turned to the CHRIST to be SAVED!
A new birth meant a new life;
Salvation meant a changed life;
Following Christ led to a joyful life.
Being a preacher meant you proclaimed the word of God;
Being a deacon meant you would serve the Lord;
Being a Christian meant you would live for Jesus;
And being a sinner meant someone was praying for you!
Laws were based on the Bible;
Homes read the Bible;
And churches taught the Bible.
Preachers were more interested in new converts,
Than new buildings and new electronic keyboards.
God was worshiped;
Christ was exalted;
and the Holy Spirit was respected.
Church was where you found Christians
on the Lord’s day, rather than at the ball game,
on the creek bank, on the golf course, at the races,
or being entertained somewhere else.
I still like the old paths the best !
Very good. Thanks.
Happy birthday to her too!

How did we go from a Man of this greatness to the bum we have now?
And, as a side note, I will never forget what a reverent event his funeral was. So sad. Mrs. Reagan and the casket...she loved him so. It brings tears to my eyes just to think about it. Then as she was passing the crowd...so silent and hushed...a man called out , “God bless you, Mrs. Reagan!”...my gosh I still cry when I think of her reaction...she seemed so dazed by his death and yet so poignant was that moment when that man's voice broke the silence of that crowd...I will never, ever forget it.
It’s too bad that Nancy Reagan never became pro-life though, like her husband.
Reagan was the best. There’s not a single one of them today good enough to wipe his cowboy boots.
Communists winning on the homefront because they couldn’t win militarily.
The government is filled with communists who have stealthily planned their comeback, but it is a shaky one. It rests squarely on Barack Obama who is going to fail just like Carter did.
Here is some video of President Reagan in action discussing Iran in a news conference.

Thank you!
You are most welcome! Hope that she had a great Birthday!
