I’d say therapy first, from what I’ve heard about juvie he’s likely only going to come out with more bad ideas and criminal tendencies than he went in with. Not that there aren’t kids who ought to be in juvie, but this one is young enough that maybe there’s still some hope of straightening him out...

I was actually just joking, since I don't think that was his motivation. He's a screwed up kid, and the fact that he's seven is astonishing.
That said, when it's time to feed a croc, something's gotta die to do it. I'd bet the chicken community was happy to turn the duty over to the lizard community for one night only.
