They called a pretty good race quickly, but it looks like it will be raining in Daytona for at least the next 2 hours.

It was a quick call. Congratulations to Matt!!! As an 88 fan, I was glad to see Junior finally stand up for himself instead of taking all of the blame as he usually does.

They could have waited 2 hours and given another hour to dry the track. With only 48 laps to go it would have been over by midnight.

Still better than a 101 lap race I guess.

Cut the Keith Urban music, Digger crap and other boring chit-chat and they could have run 500 miles.

He was pretty hot and said that what happened was not intentional. He said that he was just racing as hard as he could and was trying to win. It was nice to see him finally stop taking the blame for everything that happens on the track.

I think everyone was just anxious knowing that the rain was coming. For the blame, I'd say that both would have to share the blame. Vickers' block was really dumb and Junior should have known that he hadn't cleared Vickers enough to get back in line. That's just racing. JMO.

Darrell Waltrip did say that he liked the interview with Junior and he really liked what Junior said during the interview.
