None of these people will pay the slightest attention to this.
They are not afraid of a teabag.
Now they might get a little fear if some of us old bags got together.
Why not send the teabags to local offices instead of Washington?

That could be workable. I guess each states policy on accepting such could be checked before doing so, but I think it is important to do so. I also think it might have more impact if each of us went to our local reps closest office and hand delivered one. Everyone should have a reps office within one hour or so (except perhaps those in big sky country) but your congresscritters office should be in one of a few counties local to you. I really think that might be the best course of action. These idiots all go to washington, and local news would carry it if they were alerted to it and enough people did it. that would be picked up by talk radio/bloggers/ and would eventually be picked up by fox and go national. We should honestly plan a day or a week of it and have a steady stream of people going for that time period. Make sure each person who goes either calls or emails a tip to their local news outlet.
What someone should do is photoshop an "American Security Certificate" that can be sent over and over via e-mail, printed and posted, posters, buttons, stickers, the works...
Basically, a marketing campaign to protest. The only problem is finding funding since now the CENTRAL GOVERNMENT is taking people's money and redistributing as they see fit.

Not only that, but I think tea bags (the beverage kind) weren’t invented until long after the Boston Tea Party.
I suggest a third political party with a different name for it (I’m drawing blank for the moment)with the Teabag as it’s symbol?
