Subject: 200,000 Gay Protestors to Disrupt General Conference
I was speaking with a good friend today who's dad works for the Salt Lake City Police Department. My friend asked him how things were going for him at work and he said that he'd been putting in extra hours doing riot control training. He asked what on earth were they doing that for, and he told him that the entire police force was going through an additional 10 hours of mandatory riot control training because the city is bracing for an influx of 10,000 to 200,000 Gay protesters that want to disrupt this coming General Conference.
I asked how does your dad know how many people will be showing up. He said that the protest permits had already been applied for and that the police in doing a little intelligence gathering off of the groups websites, found out that they are "strenuously striving" to get as many people there as possible. The 200,000 number is the goal that they want to have on Conference weekend.
But what really worries the police are that the gay protest groups have aligned themselves with a couple of anarchist groups who make it their goal in life to cause as much trouble as possible. These are the groups that show up at protests and you have anarchists running through the streets throwing bricks, Molotov Cocktails, and what not, breaking windows, burning cars and businesses, and attacking innocent citizens and by standers. Their only goal is to provoke a reaction from the police and the citizenry. Can you imagine this going on while Church members are standing in line waiting to enter the Conference Center? His dad further said that the Salt Lake Police in discussing what happened in California with the police there were informed of some of the inflammatory tactics that the gay protesters used down there including ripping up Bibles and Book of Mormons, having people parade around wearing only temple garments or wearing them in combination with drag queen clothing. Anyways, the police are planning on canceling all leave to have every officer on hand for the conference, and depending on how many people start showing up and call in the Utah National Guard. Unless something unforeseen happens this is shaping up to be a major event for the police, the Church, and all major news broadcasters.

First off, I doubt they can muster 200,00 people. Second off, I think it is funny how they want to target the Mormons for Prop 8 passing. Like mentioned before, what about the blacks from the hood and the hispanics who have family values? Nope, the Mormons will do since they won’t pop some caps in their sodomite a$$es.
What do they hope to accomplish? I don’t intend to start any Mormonism vs. Christianity debates here, but let me just say - liberals often just don’t seem to understand that Christians really believe the things they say. Christians get actually tortured all over the world today rather than deny their savior. They aren’t going to change their views on homosexuality if 10,000 protesters show up to yell at them, or 10,000,000.
200,000! May I call BS on that. Nowhere near that number will show up.

I agree with no way there was 200,000 people there.
LDS has been stauncher than most in opposing the queers’ goals for America and the verts think they can wreck the LDS Church the way the Civil Rights people etc wrecked the segregation policies in the 60s.
We need Obama signs to hand out to the protesters. The more the merrier and the more we can hang around the neck of Obama.
How many of these "people" showed up when President ArmAndNutsJob gave his little speech about no homosexuals in Iran (because they all got hung on construction cranes)?

The media will hype those thousand until the average viewer thinks it’s a million. The media could make 200 look like 200,000.
Someone from the Mormon church or those who are just plain tired of the bullying tactics of the so-called “homosexual rights movement” needs to be there, videotaping any and all protesters who show up. Get those bullies on tape, harassing old ladies, assaulting men with their families, yelling at and scaring children and other acts of violence. The world needs to see these “ever-loving, tolerant” bigots in action, stripped of the media-manufactured facade of them being harmless victims. Let the world see them, harassing people who are exercising their Constitutional right to peaceable assemble and right to religion and how these hateful, lawless ones treat those with whom they disagree.
Pictures turned the world against the bigots in this country who sought to suppress the civil rights of Blacks. Pictures need to be used to do the same against these bigots who wish to suppress the civil rights of the religious who worship in peace.

Yeah, I know you and your buddies can’t pass up a chance to bash Mormons, but I would not like it the homos were protesting your church or home, and I would look past my petty disagreements with your beliefs.
It won’t make a difference. Entire generations have been brainwashed into fanatical leftist zeal.
