I got a friend who used to live in the city of San Bernardino. Used to work at some kind of restaurant over there. I heard different things about SB, one that it was just some valley town that supported Bush, the other that it was a liberal sewer pit with high crime and a lot of homeless. (But that would be just about any place in Cali) What do they have over there? I've only been to Bakersfield, Lancaster, LA and San Diego.
Start thinking about a lot of hispanics, illegal & legal. Oh, and throw in a lot of trashy meth head types.
gag.
It’s in California.
When I was there, I heard that the most common vehicle, in that town, is a shopping cart.
But isn’t that in every town in Cali not to mention any blue state?
Check out the song by Frank Zappa...
“Down in San Berdino”
She lives in mojave in a winnebago
His name is bobby, he looks like a potato
Shes in love with a boy
>from the rodeo
Who pulls the rope on the chute
When they let those suckers go
Hes a slobberin drunk at the palomino
They give him thirty days in san berdino
Well theres forty-four men
Stashed away in tank c
An theres only one shower
But it dont apply to bobby
You may think theyre
Dumb an lonely
But youre wrong
cause their love is strong
Stacked-up hair
An a cheap little ring
They dont care
cause it dont mean a thing
Looka there...
They dont care
Best-est way that
They can feel-o
Out on the highway
Rollin a wheel-o
Hes her tootsie
Shes for real-o
Trailer park heaven
Its a real good deal-o
Real good deal-o
Real good deal-o
Real good deal-o
The rest of their lives
In san berdino
Gonna spend the rest of their lives

Come on with me
Down in san berdino
Just 60 miles, 60 miles
Down the san berdino freeway

In san berdino
Oh bobby, Im sorry you gotta head like a potato
I really am
Most of it is a crime ridden liberal sewer im sorry to say.
Really? I thought they supported George Bush in 2004?
I’m pretty sure San Bernardino votes GOP, but in every other aspect it is pretty much a sewer.
you sure you aren’t talking about burbank...??....lol..
I’m originally from Redlands which is a city just to the east of San Bernardino. Berdoo *does* have good areas (to live) but the city as a whole has become so seedy and unpleasant. The smog is horrendous except for wintertime when the purple snow capped mountains can actually be seen. It’s at that time the valley is truly beautiful.
While I still visit family (and friends) from time to time, you couldn’t pay me enough to live in that area again.
Yes, but nowhere more so than this area.
I would imagine that a lot of folks here are on interest only arms. In fact, people from other shi**y parts of SoCal make fun of this area. Just another town that the illegal immigrants have destroyed in Cali.
Vacant homes that have been taken over by illegal aliens is one view.....
I always thought LA was a liberal Sewer. When I was there, nothing but crackheads, homeless bums, liberal nut jobs and celebrities. I also heard that it now has more homeless than in San Francisco and is a virtual third world country. I did hear that they have a lot of hispanics in SB though, mostly illegals.
San Bernadino itself is a transplanted South Central Los Angeles to the middle of what used to be solid conservative territory, and Fontana’s the new San Bernardino, both locals mostly run down by parole programs that placed a criminal element in what used to be great areas.
Topping that, it’s the county seat, a natural gathering point for liberal ideology as they infect county governments even in the most conservative of areas. There are loads of nice areas /around/ San Bernardino, but the city has virtually destroyed itself with a little help from liberals.
Very high crime rate, quickly turning into another SoCal barrio like so many other once pleasant places. There are a lot of newer housing tracts out there as well, where the Bush voters are, but the city itself is a sewer now.
risky area now
