Prophet, we are congratulating a fellow FREEPER for her victory. People always complain they don’t have candidate they want. Now we do, we know it’s long odds but she beat the ballot challenge and then won the primary.

Great job and God Bless Rosanna.

Given that this is Rod Blagojevich & Rahm Emanuel’s old district consisting of part the city of Chicago, the chances of any Republican winning here are slim to none.

Yes... Good old Reagan... but, we need to find a new leader as in the same league and caliber as Reagan, but, won't be mistaken as another Reagan... as in ? the principles that we hold... our beliefs.

No runoff, the final will be Rosanna Pulido, Mike Quigley - Dem, Matthew Reichel - Green, and any 3rd party who can petition to get on.

I noticed the same thing in the primary season. They’d put the numbers up of Reps. and Dems. and there would be thousands more turnout for the Democrats. I knew then we were in real deep doo doo. They have moveon.org and George Soros, worth billions. We have talk radio and Free Republic takes weeks to raise a few paltry thousands.

Do you think those numbers (3,900 for Republicans, Green had about 450. Dems had about 50,000)have anything to do with this story?

Or was that problem corrected?

What conservatives? This is the Rostenkowski / Blagojevich / Emanuel seat, need I say more? I’d be embarrassed to live in that district.

She’ll need more than a lot of luck and a lot of money…

Anything is possible, but….

This is the vote (democratic) that has to be examined
If Quigley solidly carried the district over the 10 others breaking into even into 30% that would be one thing. But of the total, he has 40,000 voters who didn’t vote for him and 11,000 which is his base of support..What was the % of turnout ? Which precincts went below that percentage ? Those are precincts that should be worked, along with precincts which Quigley barely carried.
