Vampire myths are much older then the middle ages and are pretty much universal. So, no. While interesting if accurate this does not have anything to do with how the idea of vampires came to be.
hasn’t anyone ever played World of Darkness. Vampires turn into ash when you kill them. Besides which if she was a real vampire, other vamps would have torched her well before she attracted that kind of interest from regular vampires.
Besides which unless you have very strong faith in god a vampire will laugh off a cross and drain you dry.
