Fish Oil Could Curb Cow Flatulence
foxnews ^ | March 30, 2009

Cows break wind a lot, and their flatulence fills the air with methane, a potent greenhouse gas. In fact, the EPA estimates that roughly 28 percent of all methane emissions related to human activity come from methane-producing bacteria in the rumens of domestic cattle, sheep and goats and other livestock known as ruminants, which eat plants that are mostly indigestible by other creatures. By volume, methane is more powerful than carbon dioxide at trapping solar energy and making the atmosphere behave like a greenhouse. Fish oil could cut down on the boom-booms, a new study suggests.

Would not closing Congress for nine months out of the year have the same impact?

They may fart less but they will smell worse.

SBD will be a new breed of cattle.

“...Would not closing Congress for nine months out of the year have the same impact?...”

However, theirs comes out of both ends. Sad to say, these cows could do a better job running the country!

I take 4 per day and it hasn’t affected my flatulence which has increased with age. I just consider it an expansion of my carbon footprint. If I could find a way to curb it I would go into business selling the product AND carbon credits to the rubes (environmentalists).

So what are the odds in some new disease or problem arising from feeding one animal oil from another animal that the first animal has never naturally eaten.

Gee, I don’t see any potential problems there /s

We “aren’t” supposed to be eating meat to begin with. Never mind how many vegans add to methane emmisions with their own diets.

Correction: By volume, methane is more powerful than carbon dioxide which is the latest scam at controlling our behaviour and taxing our productivity by alleging that they actually have a chance at trapping solar energy and making the atmosphere behave like a greenhouse....

Farting is probably the most enjoyable thing most cows do all day, and now someone wants to take that away from them!
Life just ain’t fair!
