Summary
This visually explosive FBI document reveals the secret symbols organized pedophiles use to recognize each other and is likely to be of broad interest to readers, especially parents. Wikileaks has verified the document.
Knowledge is a good thing to have, usually. :o)
Wasn’t that a Barney Frank lapel pin?

They're everywhere!!!1!
ok.. question.
if i see someone wearing such a ring or necklace, and proceed to pound their head into the ground... can i collect a reward when i turn in the liquefied remains?
on a more serious note... could i have any legal problems if i restrain the individual until authorities arrive? which brings me back to wondering about restraining ‘techniques’ on said individual... like... announcing to the gathering mob what the guy does

The problem is it could be innocent... or they could believe in underage sex but not actually do it.
i may believe in normal, hetero, over 20 year old sex... that doesn’t mean i walk around advertising for it.
and yes, i think announcing it to the people around would be a good first step.
the second would be to throw trash/garbage/food at the individual (of course, if he comes after me... i may be forced to defend myself :)

>>I don’t know why a triangle would suggest anything sexual. Usually, it is symbolic of ambition and energy (fire). It is male but if there is esoteric quality to it perhaps derived from the Egyptians or Greeks, maybe Masonic in nature that points to sex, I don’t see it. <<
I’m guessing it’s hard to pick a truly original symbol for anything.

Be Careful. The above is the logo for Alcoholics Anonymous.
If you run into the real pedo article, get info and give it the the authorities.
I would also guess that they wanted to pick a symbol that would look perfectly innocuous to anyone who doesn't know what it means.
> maybe Masonic in nature that points to sex, I don’t see it.
There is nothing Masonic about the paedophile symbol.
I am also reminded of the South Park episode where two NAMBLA’s are confused - North American Man/Boy Love Association, and the North American Marlon Brando Look Alikes...

Given the FBI’s past record, how do we know they aren’t talking out of their Clymers on this one? Remember that that BS “terrorist warning signs” report in Missouri?
> and yes, i think announcing it to the people around would be a good first step.
That would be an excellent way to get sued for millions for slander. Particularly if there are witnesses. And while “truth” is an absolute defense for all defamation proceedings such as slander and libel, it would be your burden to prove that this stranger was, in fact, a paedophile. I doubt he would make that easy for you to do.
> the second would be to throw trash/garbage/food at the individual (of course, if he comes after me... i may be forced to defend myself :)
That would be an excellent way to be arrested and charged with Assault, and possibly Disorderly Conduct. If the paedophile attacked you for throwing stuff at him, he may be able to plead “Self Defense”. Then it would be your ass in the sling, not his.
On the assumption that you believe this bulletin, your best thing to do if you see those symbols is to keep your kids away from that guy.
If you read the FBI report, it gives information on the meaning of the triangle.
APf
so... best to wait until there are no witnesses. check
I wouldn’t think so. I know they are used in many cultures.
And their previous one in AZ in the late '90s.
I’ve seen those rings for sale in places like Walmart. It would be easy for someone to buy one not knowing what it stood for.
>>Ive seen those rings for sale in places like Walmart. It would be easy for someone to buy one not knowing what it stood for.<<
If they looked exactly like that, Walmart might appreciate a link to the FBI document
You might have a problem.
I had a ring similar to the one shown about 30 years ago. Pedophiles dont have a lock on the triangle design and I doubt people are asked for their pedophile bona fides when buying jewlery.
This is just FYI.
Does anyone know if this is valid or maybe an urban legend?
Pedophiles = gay persons
Uh, has anyone checked this info anywhere else?
Though there are certainly hetero pedophiles—the female teacher who falls for a 13 yr old boy, for example. How about the NH teacher, Pam Smart, who was so infatuated with a 15 yr old male student that she got the student and his pals to murder her husband Greg?
I’m a survivor of child sexual abuse. If you are really interested in busting pedophiles I suggest you do not keep spreading false information like saying all pedophiles are gay people...
Every mason I know is a old cowboy and would beat the sh!t out of any pedophile, dump them down an old oil well, then drop a joint of drill pipe on top of them.
I don’t think that was the post. Kind of a Vehn diagram issue.
The fact that gay men have, among their ranks, a huge tendancy towards liking boys is just a fact of life.
Additionally, I have seen people wearing spirally designs to indicate a labyrinth, which is of interest to some modern people religiously - Pagans, I think.
The photos of the rings look a lot like things you can get in the silver jewelry kiosk at the mall.
So, this *may* be true, but there are so many people wearing this sort of symbolic jewelry out there, it would be hard to separate the people wearing things innocently from the predators. Which ones do you report?
Just my opinion, but the way to keep children safe is to know where they are, who they are with, and to teach them to say "no" to inappropriate advances. That, and to report specific suspicious behavior to the authorities at once.
Agree with everything you’ve said. If I hadn’t seen this article, and saw that pretty heart pendant, for example, it’s something I might definitely consider wearing! And, I can imagine many people buying a pendant like this for their loved ones without knowing ANYTHING about the “pedophile” connotation.
I definitely agree with your suggestions on how to prevent pedophilia as well. The other thing I’d like to caution people is that the great majority of pedophiles are KNOWN, and TRUSTED by the child and their parents. So while obviously it’s important to always know where your child is, and who they are with is important, it’s also EXTREMELY important for parents to know the “signs” of abuse, and not to let their love, or friendship for the possible perpetrator blind them to these signs. Again, MANY, MANY pedophiles are FAMILY MEMBERS of the abused.
One thing I would suggest to ALL parents is to talk with their children and tell them the types of things pedophiles will say to them to scare them (Your parents don’t really love you, I will kill you if you tell, I will kill your family members if you tell, You’re just a child no-one will believe you over ME, they’ll send you to an insane asylum if you tell, etc... etc...). It’s VERY important that kids know that these are EMPTY THREATS, and are used to try to manipulate the child into protecting the abuser.
As for saying “no”. While that is good in theory, it may lead to undue shame because we know that a child saying “no” isn’t going to mean squat to a pedophile, and the child may feel they didn’t say “no” loud enough, or fight back enough when most of the time it’s not like there is anyone around to HEAR their objections.
IMHO, it’s better to just inform the children of the types of “inappropriate touch”, and make sure they know that as a CHILD it is NEVER THEIR FAULT these things happen. Understanding that TELLING on the pedophile is a MUST, is the most important thing we can help our children understand. Talk to them about the emotions they would feel if this happened (when they are old enough to understand) - shame, fear, disgust - and let them know that while it’s natural to feel that way NOT telling is much, much worse, and will make them FEEL even WORSE in the long run, than any discomfort admitting it happened may cause.
Link does not work. What does it say?!
I am not disagreeing with your comement that mathematics are not perfect (e.g., not “=”), nor do I believe most pedophiles are gay.
I do, however, believe that most gay men will gladly prey on young boys, generally in their young teens or tweens. That may not be the precise definition of “pedophile,” but whatever that is called, they do.
Heck, look at last week’s story of the queer reporter who got killed seeking “rough sex” with a teen boy.
I hate to say this but on what basis could you restrain them... *maybe* if they were with a little kid but being mentally ill in and of itself is not crime..
State your facts in public if you have them. Please don’t write me privately on this issue. Thank you.
See police records on such sases!don’t be lazy.
You are the one making the accusation against gays. It is not I who is being lazy. If you have proof, show it. In all the research and reading I have done on this issue I have seen NOTHING to support your contention. On the contrary, I have seen PLENTY of information that NEGATES your position.
Police reports in and of themselves prove NOTHING. No-one is saying it doesn’t happen. It is YOU who said Homosexuals=pedophiles, not I.
have seen NOTHING to support your contention/Gee I wonder why wrong data search?
Homosexuals=pedophiles
Prove it’s not a fact!
All inclusive statements are automatically invalid. You’ll have to try a little better than that...
Gosh. I have paper clips that look like that. . . Got ‘em at Target.
Then why don't they just put a bucket and sponge in the kid's hands and say "wash my car" or "mop my kitchen"? That's "having power" over them also, albeit in a less repulsive manner.

I fully agree with your post, homosexuals very much pursue the underage.
