HOW TO STAY HEALTHY... DON'T CUT YOUR HAIR
DailyExpress ^ | April 6,2009

A doctor claims his patients remain healthy because he does not cut his hair.

The medic, 79, made the link between healing patients and not trimming his locks more than 60 years ago.

Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner Peng Fu said: "I stopped cutting my hair and people started to get better."

"My medicine became more effective the longer I let my hair grow. Now I will never cut it."

The hirsute healer now has to carry his eight-pound mane rolled up in a bag on his back, according to the Austrian Times. It stretched nearly nine feet the last time he measured.

The doctor, from Suining in central China, takes his healing very seriously. He doesn't allow patients to touch his tresses and rarely washes them.

"My medicine became more effective the longer I let my hair grow.

Or maybe with age you gained experience. Then again it could be the hair.

If that’s being healthy, no thanks. I think I’d rather excercise and watch what I eat.

This guy is healthy because no other humans want to come in contact with him or his giant bag of hair.

This is pretty hard to believe. Normal hair typically falls out, or breaks off, after four years or so, so even hair that has never been cut is not going to grow much longer than it can in four years. There are some people whose hair grows incredibly fast who might have hair below waist level, but that’s rare Guinness Book of world records type of event.
