Now we hear how brilliant the President is for picking the winner, even though they were the most picked team.

What I find ironic is that despite all the ridiculous noise about the Big East dominating Division I Men’s College Basketball, the final was between an ACC team and an Big Ten team.

See, I wouldn’t go out in anything nice for that reason. I just missed the ‘93 celebration, there wasn’t one for the women’s championship in ‘94, and after the ‘99 riots in East Lansing I wasn’t about to go downtown for the ‘00 MSU celebration...

Probably not — he’s old enough that he wouldn’t want to travel.
Besides, who in their right mind wants to be in Michigan in early April in the snow? There’s a reason I got out of that state as fast as I could, and it wasn’t just because Jenny G was just elected governor.

Don’t think he was there, but I heard Coach Williams thank him. Dont know if he is ill or not, but I’m sure he wouldn’t miss it if he was able. Lots of past players there though, including MJ(Michael Jordon)!

Vince Carter was also there, and Buzz Peterson and Eric Montross is on the Tarheel radio broadcast! Just a good night to be a Tarheel! It was a good season, even if we wouldn't have won the title, mainly because we beat Duke twice!! Thats good enough for us Tarheel fans!!

I’m glad somebody still enjoys the NBA. I haven’t payed any attention to it since the great Jerry West retired in ‘74.You aren't missing much. Today it's all 3-point shots and "I bet you can't stop me" drives to the basket. Throw in the constant traveling that occurs on almost every possession, and it's really not that much fun to watch any more, especially for fans who used to enjoy the good old days of basketball (before the 3-point shot rule).
