Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the creators of South Park, were given a signed photo of Saddam Hussein by US marines after the former Iraqi leader was shown their movie in prison.
During his captivity, US marines forced Saddam, who was executed in 2006, to repeatedly watch the move South Park: Bigger, Longer And Uncut, which shows him as gay, as well as the boyfriend of Satan. He was also regularly depicted in a similar manner during the TV series.
The admission comes with the show's 13th season already running in the US. It will celebrate its 12th anniversary later this year.
The show, which satirises a wide range of topics, including religion, sexuality and mental illness, has won a number of awards including three Emmys for Outstanding Animated Programme.
Recent episodes have seen Barack Obama using his Presidential victory as a way to steal jewels from Washington in an Oceans 11-style heist.

Well, yes, actually I am. But so was Saddam apparently. That was his method of murder, except Saddam liked to keep them alive and feet first was so they didn’t die until almost through.
Now he is going to sue from beyond the grave because making him watch a tv show violated his civil rights.
I did not know that about ‘ol Sadamn.
Your post just brought up the memory of that scene with poor old Steve Buscemi’s leg sticking out of the chipper. I was laughing my butt off.
Yeah, I have to admit to giggling at him jabbing that piece of wood, trying to get it down in there.
That whole movie was quietly hilarious.
Saddam at least got a good laugh before they hanged him. He was a secular dictator, big fan of American movies, kept the radical islamofascists in line and the trains were always on time. I hope he had a sense of humor. It is interesting to know he saw those episodes. Wonder what he thought.

The Coen Brothers are reliably excellent, though I was one of the few that did not like “Raising Arizona”
“sponsored by KY and Satan”
LOL
I just had another thought (happens once in a while)....
If Saddam didn’t like it, doesn’t forcing him to watch his depiction in South Park episodes violate the Geneva Convention rules against cruel and unusual punishment?
How would you or I feel if the Marines forced you to watch every episode of Will and Grace?
Death would be welcome.
I just found out about after reading Thursday UK Telegraph this too funny
Very nice! LOLOLOLOL
South Park makes the Simpsons look like Bambi. South Park rules.
I take it Saddam liked the movie?
Rainforest Shmainforest (1999)
The boys get sent to Costa Rica by Mr. Mackey to sing in the kids choir “Getting Gay with Kids”. While there, the group gets lost in the jungle. Jennifer Aniston is hilarious as the choir teacher.
Love hearing the greenies mocked in this episode.
No “Death Camp of Tolerance”?
Saddam a South Park fan?
Barack got a smile on this trip about having it pointed out that Hussein is the name of Mohammed’s grandson.
I’m sure he finds some brotherhood with Saddam.
Can we use his middle name again?
i’m sorry. if the world of warcraft episode isn’t on there, your list holds no water, imho.
Where he is now, he's living it.
