First off, I'm 60 years old. Second, I am not going to waste time with someone who can't figure out that what's "lumped together in the public mind" isn't important; what matters is the business model.

Last, I don't give a rat's a$$ what you think is immoral. Following your approach we'd have to burn down all the libraries because they have "dirty" books in them. Do yourself a favor and look into this growing up thing. It really is a good thing.

Fox News is the 'right-wing' network. The broadcast channel Fox, and the cable channel FX, dozens of TV channels and film studios in a handful of countries, magazines, newspapers, a couple sports teams to varying degrees, and even Myspace are owned by Fox's parent company, News Corp NBC Universal and their affiliates (including Comedy Central, the SciFi Channel, and the Food network among others) are somehow connected in a way that I don't really understand...

As to 'Family Guy', yes, it's offensive, tasteless, and inappropriate for children, but it's the parents job to make sure their children watch age-appropriate stuff. It's not like this is sneakily inserted into a kiddie show, or airing on a network that prides itself on being 'conservative', and it takes about three consecutive seconds of seeing it or one glance at the ratings logo in the corner to determine that it's outright inappropriate for children. If there are any children who watch this, their parents are obviously not doing their parenting jobs properly. I agree it's offensive, but among other things we have a right to free speech in this country even if it does offend people (and thank goodness, otherwise this site would likely be shut down due to liberals whining about its offensiveness), and we can't censor everything in the world 'for the children' simply because some people aren't doing their jobs as parents properly.

Happy Easter to you. May God Bless you and show you wisdom. Although we may disagree on things good and evil, I respect many godless libertines for trying some of the time to do the right thing for children.

As you say, it’s the business model that counts. Profit over everything. Hitler had a great business model, too. Focus on youth, nature, modern tanks, and down-sizing of the disabled and undesirable. Great corporate speaker too.

He filled the spiritual vacuum left by Wiemar artists and juvenile minded intellectuals and ancestors of today’s libertarian slackers.

If you don't like Fox, don't watch it. Find another hobby other than complaining about something that is not your call.

Sheesh!! you must be very bored to spend your time ranting about the lack of taste in a television network's programming.

Hello? It's television; it has always been bad. Move on, I am.

What does that have to do with our debate? Rupert Murdoch, the so-called conservative, has no morals. And real conservatives have the right to post on Free Republic and raise a ground swell of protest against him.

'...real conservatives have the right to post on Free Republic and raise a ground swell of protest against him.'

Indeed. I was referring to voting with my remote.
