Well, it says in the report that all she’s seeking is jewelry and some property.

Leave this couple alone!!!
Divorce is painful enough for all concerned and need not become grist for the chattering class (especially those in Hollywierd who love to hate Gibson.)

No kidding they will have to split approx. 600 million dollars Oh NO!!!! This has got to be one of the biggest oversights of the Obama administration to date. I can't believe they don't have a "Divorce Tax" in place yet.

I wonder if recent events have made him more reactionary and she wasn’t on board with it. Its hard to tell since his community is so secretive and extremely exclusive, but I think it would be obvious to state that this would be Earth shattering for his community, if not even undermining his authority and standing.

It would be funny if Mel's wife hires a Jewish defense attorney and even better yet if the judge that hears the divorce case in also Jewish.
Just to remind people what Mel said during his DUI arrest:
"F*****g Jews... The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.

I know!! At lease he didnt call them F***KING JEW BASTARDS, and All YOU PEOPLE THINK ABOUT IS MONEY like Hillary did! As far as I know, those exact words were not spoken by Gibson.
However, both their statements have proven that both Clinton and Gibson are both anti-Semitic scum.

Too bad for all involved. Divide the money/property by two, shake hands and walk away. Shouldn’t take more than a day. Why people with more money than most countries fight to hold on to *all* of it is totally beyond me.

This is indeed tragic on many levels, especially for their children.
Gibson did such an outstanding job with Passion of the Christ, that many wrote to him asking him to produce films about other religious figures like St. Francis of Assisi. There is a great hunger in this nation for a return to morality in the cinema and Gibson must have recognized this in the accolades he received from the various christian denominations.

sadly, the Passion of Christ was just a money maker for him......it sure didn’t convert him.

Cheap shot. How the hell do you anything about what were his motivations in making that movie.

I know it didn't change his life......ie drunk driving, his drunken rant and adultery......sorry, it's the truth. He may be a great director, but his personal life is pretty sad. I note he was fooling around with this bimbo while with his sons and still married to their mother. Pathetic.
