And You Said You Wouldn'tChange Susan Boyle ... New Look

Susan Boyle insisted she wouldn't change after she shot to worldwide stardom following her appearance on Britain's Got Talent.
But as she stepped out yesterday it appeared she had been on a shopping trip.
The Scottish singer had swapped her matronly look for a new, patterned dress and leather-look jacket, along with a pair of high heels.
---
Susan, 47, told this week's Star magazine she thought she looked 'like a garage' on TV, but vowed: 'I'm happy the way I am - plump!'
The Scottish spinster, who lives with her cat Pebbles, said she was 'much better looking' than Paul Potts, a previous winner.

She seems compfratable with who she is.
Isn’t it a pity that she MUST look different?
Apparently she has SUBSTANCE but her critics insist on APPEARANCES.

It’s a Happy Days tribute, featuring Fonzie’s jacket, Mrs. Cunningham’s dress and Mr. Cunningham’s calves.

You might be heartened to know there was an online poll that overwhelmingly said she should not change,
I think the pleather jacket is her own idea. :)

There is nothing wrong with her wanting to look nice. Most of us want to look our best and I’m sure if millions of people were judging me I would try even harder.

What does that have to do with new shoes? She didn’t change very much.
To: BunnySlippers
You never know. She could make gazillions if she loses a ton on NutraSystem/Weight Watchers/SlimFast, etc., and then shills for them.
When’s she going on Oprah?

Well, a fairly simple cosmetic and hair makeover would do an amazing job too. I guess they’ve told her no go on such. Her face, as it was on her big day, is a selling point. It is trademark.
Beautiful voice. Amazing.

What new look? She looks the same to me. Was she supposed to wear that same gold dress forever? They don’t know that this coat isn’t ten years old. This article is lame.

She doesn't look all that different, and hell, even if she is "testing the waters" a bit, so what.
I guess there's a nine year old (or whatever) giving her some competition. Good for them. They both seem to have some God given talent.

She doesn’t look different to me. She looks nice just as she did on the stage. I think since she won...she is perfectly correct in heading out to buy new clothes. Everyone would. She didn’t head to the botox store like so many have. Good for her. Good on ya Susan. :)

So she got a new dress and a jacket. What's the big deal? She looks the same as she did before, except with a new frock. Her hair and face look the same; she's just herself. I'm thrilled if someone bought some new clothes for her, or she bought them for herself. It's a great look for her.
I'd like to get an outfit like that, myself! I've just ordered a couple of jackets, but I'm not much of a dress wearer. I might have to find one like Susan's!
