St. Louis man shot and killed pit bull

The coyotes are a real problem. They’re probably why there are no dogs running around. The coyotes congregate across the road and howl. It’s awful when you hear them and another animal, cat, calf, whatever they have cornered, all of them screaming and then silence. You know they killed it. Had a single coyote last weekend scoping out the yard. Haven’t seen the pack yet this year.

Yeah, they yell "The ground water!" lol However if one has a hunting license we can shoot "nuisance" animals like coyotes. Bears are a whole nother story. In NY state, there's not much that's legal.

Do you have goats? Ever hear of Hoegger goat supplies?

Use to raise Angora Goats. Had a flock of about 80 at one point...Husband passed away 18 years ago and had to sell the farm...The goats and 1 ewe were donated to our Catholic church and the priest and I found a mission church in the hills of Kentucky and that priest had a parishioner that would donate $1000.00 to the mission for the goats. We shipped down there 56 goats and the 1 ewe. He raised lama's and other exotic animals...Our parish priest paid for the vet to come out and inoculate the flock and found a guy that would transport them for the cost of the gas..Our story actually made it into the Michigan Catholic Paper that gets sent to all Church's. Even had Fathers and my picture along with one of the kids in the story..I kept a handful and sold the rest locally..Still love those animals..The parish in the Kentucky hills needed 1000 dollars to put a bell in their chapel..everything worked out fine. My goats got a home, the mission got a bell and the Lord works in really strange ways...I had to sell the farm about 2 years after I got rid of the main flock. The goats that I kept were finally turned into salami.( With the exception of 4. That is another long story but they ended up in Illinois...
