We are a nation of laws. One cannot go into the street and shoot something because you are afraid of what it might do.

You knowledge of the the law is lacking.

If someone else's dog comes onto my property and even appears to be running my pets or livestock, I have the legal right to shoot it. Not only that, I have the right to demand reimbursement for the bullet.
