Behold! The new face of Burberry! Kate Moss who?!
Susan Boyle, zee greatest singer in da world (side-eye from Celine Dion), already had her eyebrows pruned, plucked, prodded and pricked. But now she left a salon near her home in Scotland yesterday with freshly cut, dyed and styled hair. Eeeee GADS! Now, now.
Before you hang a white sheet on the wall and record yourself in front of it screaming, "LEAVE SUSAN BOYLE ALOOOOOONE," take a look at her. She's the same spinster cat lady who eats porridge out of old yogurt cups and dresses up her feline friend as Fred Astaire so she can dance around the room with him. She's still the Jennifer Aniston of Scotland!
It's not like Susan looks like Megan Fox or anything. If she ever starts stuffing her lips with vegetable oil or shoves silicone-filled Hefty bags in her booby area, then you can begin eating your hair in frustration.
With her new mop, she totally looks like this sweet librarian at my old elementary school who drove a banana yellow Datsun. Whenever I checked out a book, she would always say "Thank you, little miss!"

I wish the best for this very nice person.
I think the UK press is making too much of this, she probably just went to get a haircut, although her clothes are looking a bit nicer these days.
I love it! Best of luck, Susan!
yes, a change of clothes is a good thing for her. She’s wearing heels and structured trousers and her legs look longer.
She actually has a cute figure when dressed rather stylishly. I don’t think the new-do and the new-duds will change her. She is Susan and anyway that you dress her, she will always be Susan. No matter what......hope NO ONE gives her a voice make-over.
Thanks for the photo. I like the improvements. They don’t change her, as much as show her true personality. Nicely done, Susan. :D
She looks nice but to be beautiful, all she has to do is sing.
Looks like this 47 year old lady won’t be a virgin much longer. LOL
I love her apparent humility and great heart. And her voice, of course.
That said: the makeover is well-done, but not necessary.
I hope she does well. And to the people who judged her as a flop based on her appearance, nuts to them!
TV is becoming more and more a place where only “beautiful” faces are splashed on the screen.
She looks very nice, and a bit closer to her actual age. I wish her all the best.
Agreed
Or Clark Gable to Pelosi: “Frankly, madam, I don’t give a damn.”
LOL...I posted to the wrong thread.
I’m crazy. It’s Friday.
All she needed was a little eyebrow plucking, mustache waxing, and sophisticated clothes and hair.
At 47 years of age ... she is a bit slow starting. Let us wish her well. She is brave and has talent.
Be proud, you English. Do not let the jealous and cynical put her down in your eyes.
Not bad at all - whoever selected all that has good taste. A little brighter lipstick, though, and a smile, please!
And they spent a whole 100 pounds (+/- $200)! It would cost that much to get me a good haircut and color, new makeup, and a non-thrift-store outfit including shoes.
mustache waxing eh? That’s gotta hurt.
yup, mustache waxing hurts. No pain, no gain, as they say.
I’ll just take your word for it. :)
by the time they get done with her, she will look like Angelina Jolie.
Hey, it’s from DListed! That’s my favorite blog!
Love Susan Boyle- I think it’s a nice makeover.
Either way she looks just fine.
You Go Girl.
Susan Boyle is awesome.
That’s much better, but she hasn’t done anything that any woman wouldn’t have done in similar circumstances. More power to her!
She looks great! Good for her!
Love the makeover.
Love the makeover.
Love the makeover.
I LOVE her voice. She does the BEST version of “I Dreamed a Dream” I’ve ever heard. Elaine Page’s version of the same song (on Youtube) sounds almost amateurish compared to Ms. Boyle’s.
When is Susan’s CD coming out? I simply love her voice!
Yes she does. On BGT she looked like my mother, and she’s close to my age! lol If anyone knows they are going to be on a public stage, they want to look their best. Susan is no different.
Even many of us guys have had this done to us by girlfriends and wives. It isn't exactly a major change, it is called cleaning up a little and going shopping for some new duds, I'm about due one of those right now.
What a totally mean article.
It could have just as well been written in a possitive way.
P.S.
I love her blouse. It’s beautiful.
The photographer could have picked a better background... a trash bin??!
entertainment ping list
She looks great.
It’s a man baby!
Autotune
AUTOTUNE
AUTOTUNE
“has talent”
Which is why she will succeed, there’s a tremendous lot of goodwill for her and people are sick of the little pop tarts and she still looks natural.
THANK YOU for the post!!!
How great does she look? Love the “attitude” with the hand on the hip. Outstanding Susan, outstanding!!!
See what the right clothes (no Michelle armpit level belts) can do? She looks great!
Okay, I give, what does that mean?
It’s the cruddy digital vocorder effects used on all modern pop songs.
Peter Frampton singing “DO YOU FEEEEEEL” in the 1970s was a vocorder.
The first known use of this digital version was Cher’s “Do you believe in love”.
And now anyone who wants airplay on the pop 40 girlie disco stations has his or her voice run through it.
Whenever I hear anything with that vocoder sound, I just want to take a flamethrower to my radio.
And for the record, I hate it. And it prevents non-autotune acts from being played on contemporary music stations because they’d “sound different”.

And then that no-talent ass clown, Kanye West, gave it even more legitimacy with his latest album.
uggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh
The English are jealous that Susan is a Scot and as such has already been blessed by God.
