Unfortunately, it runs on 440 volts, and requires a really long, heavy-duty, extension cord to reach to your destination.

I just wanted to unleash some funnies for Saturday afternoon. It didn’t take long. It’s why I love it here.

This is great! Now the Libs can scarf them up (because they’re electric) and then vandalize their *own* cars (out of an irrational hatred for Hummers).

This is full of win.

The offroad electric car, and your Honda generator.

This is way past stupid.

440 volts? I have 50 amps running to my dock. A big home ac is 220 volts.

The Tesla sports car is pretty cool and the price has been coming down but I wonder if they will survive.

"440 volts?"

OK. That was a lame attempt at humor.

As far as the Tesla; since it is upscale, Ø probably won't subsidize it. He only wants little electric Yugos, made by Government Motors.

LOL! Sorry I am a little slow today. Any idea what a fork lift with batteries takes? I remember working for a company and those fork lifts took a ton of batteries and the plugs were huge.

A Hummer that doesn’t spew gobs of CO2 is no fun to drive. “Electric Hummer” ?? What an insult.

Until it pulls energy from the atmosphere. No.

Electric vehicles are not nearly as fuel-efficient as thought when you calculate efficiency properly, fuel to miles.

While the motors themselves are nearly 100% efficient, there are numerous energy losses at generation, transmission and recharging.
