COCA-Cola has been forced to can a TV ad that authorities say suggested women should be available for sex whenever men want it.
The Advertising Standards Bureau found the ad, though light-hearted, was inappropriate to be on TV when children were watching.
It was the second embarrassment in a month for the soft drink giant, after it had to admit incorrect health claims in print ads featuring actor Kerry Armstrong.
The latest controversy erupted over a Coke Zero ad, titled "Break-up as it should be".

Thought crime. Men aren’t supposed to be the one initiating the break-up -— that’s the real objection from the pc crowd.

It’s suppossed to look raunchy...It’s in the style of a 70’s Grindhouse movie. I haven’t seen a beer commercial that doesn’t suggest that if you drink that beer women will want to have sex with you.
To: jakerobins
but....but what about the ones with the pretty horsies?! :)

I haven't seen this, but how about that new Burger King ad? It has all the sexy chicks in short-shorts wiggling their behinds in the camera while the song sings about how he likes "square butts", while that ridiculous plastic-headed BK dude points at their rears. It's not even very funny and I think highly inappropriate.

The problem with this commercial is that it doesn't "suggest" anything. It's a blatant, garish, tacky, hit the public over the head with the message commercial.

“I havent seen a beer commercial that doesnt suggest that if you drink that beer women will want to have sex with you”
There's a big difference between “suggestive” and RAUNCHY!
This one was over the top.
To: trisham
Yeah kind of the point. Just like the Grinhouse movies it’s a farce..... Unlike the Entire Lifetime network which suggests that ALL men are rapists, abusers, or murderers. Even SNL made fun of the Lifetime channel for these movies one of their funniest skits “The John McCain Story”.

I don’t drink Pepsi because of their Obama logo all over their packaging. Now I’ll stop Coke too. Guess I will start drinking Sam’s Cola. It’s pretty good.
