The Fairy shrimp was one. They live everywhere. This show featured some from Africa, IIRC. They BOILED the things and they didn’t die!

There might possibly be a little creek around there but it is one of the driest areas on the North American continent. I suspect calcowgirl has uncovered a legitimate reason for OM LPs grievances.
