Leslie Shott, 34, confronted the hooded youth after he burst into a shop brandishing an airgun.
The yob pointed the pistol at Leslie's face but the brave welder simply grabbed the barrel, wrestled him to the ground and told him: 'How dare you point a gun at me!'

As they waited for the police the 19-year-old started sobbing and begged forgiveness from shop owner...
The father-of-one - who lives above the shop - said: 'I just acted on instinct and would do it again if I had to. Every man should have the right to protect the area where he lives.
'I have family here and I don't like the idea of people like this causing trouble and thinking they can get away with what they like....
'But once I got him on the floor and told him the police were on their way he started begging and crying.
'It was pretty pathetic... "

WTF?
Blubbering like a baby is going to go over real good with the inmates.
Oh boy.
He's gonna be charged, prosecuted, and jailed for that one.
Well, not for just taking on the perp, but also for daring to utter the thought crime that a man should be allowed to protect his home and its area. He should know that England will have none of that. A man is expected to smile and take the bullet to the head and be thankful that an agent from the state will promptly clean up the mess.
Its the UK. I hope the gentleman doesn’t get charged with anything.
Looks like he grabbed the kids “hoodie” and pulled it over his face while he grabbed the gun.
Poor kid, he was taught all his life that physical violence against him by anyone in authority (parents, police, adults in general) was illegal. He thought he had carte blanche to do whatever he wanted with no consequences.
Then, when reality came crashing down, he cried like he should of when someone spanked his butt so hard he couldn’t sit when he was 10 years old.
Should’a beaten him to death with the air gun!

No.That’s gangster yo all he needed was another gun and turn it sideways.
Never happen. This is Britain, remember. Nobody got hurt. They won't do anything to him.
