Stephen Colbert To Meghan McCain, ‘You’re More Liberal Than President Obama!’

Meghan McCain was again provided with a national outlet for her "moderate" Republican views with her appearance on "The Colbert Report" on May 18. Host Stephen Colbert said to her, "You're more liberal than President Obama. Is that how you see the future of Republican Party going?"

"I'm liberal on social issues," McCain responded

Later in the interview McCain explained her views: "All I'm trying to say is it can be a party for a 24-year-old pro-sex woman. It can be. I just think that we have people that are in this party that are hijacking it and - trying to make it more extreme."

A self described "pro-sex, pro-life and pro-gay marriage" Republican, McCain would prefer the Republican Party stray away from abstinence only education and drop its support for the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy

Being socially liberal is in direct opposition to being fiscally conservative. The liberal aspects call for extreme spending projects to overwhelm the spending constraints.

OK, now this is starting to make some sense. Dennis Kucinich used his last presidential campaign to meet chicks, and Meghan is just trying to get laid. I think that's kind of sad.

Meghan, there are LOTS of guys who like chubby chicks, and I've got just the guy for you.

His name is Andrew Miszak he's a 28-year old Democrat. He's an Obama supporter, a school board member, and I think he's probably got a lot of money stashed away, because he lives at his parents' house, in the basement of course. Or in your case, he's "marriage material".

And guess what, Meghan - Republicans aren't anti-sex, where did you think YOU came from? It's just that we'd prefer you'd consider marriage too. But if you do wind up with Andy, could you please use protection? Some people should NOT breed...

I wonder if Meg went on a date with a guy who used a ‘pro-sex” slogan to get her to think that he agreed with her political views. Now Meg might brainlessly think that “pro-sex” is a legitimate political stance.

Could be, but I'll bet it has more to do with some poor schlub daddy paid to take her out fighting off her advances. She assumed he was anti-sex when really he was just anti-skank.

She is also a typical liberal/progressive. Take two words out of a teaching plan on health and tie them together together, then use them for talking points.

The only way sex ed uses the two words, is to tell kids that abstinence is the only 100% way to avoid pregnancy or stds. And it happens to be true, so why would she be against that? She isn't, she just has the morals of (used to be an ally cat) a democrat.
