Like all of this year's graduates, Moshe Kai Cavalin is excited that he completed college, with a degree in astrophysics.
But unlike the majority of college grads, Cavalin is only 11 years old and stands 4 feet, 7 inches tall.
At the age of an average sixth-grader, Cavalin has gradated from East Los Angeles Community College. But, graduating college at 11 may not be his highest goal in life.
"I want to be a movie actor and compete in the 2016 Olympics in martial arts," Cavalin told NBC affliate Wood TV.

It is just amazing the power of the individual unopposed to the constraints of the system.
yeah, the individual prodigy.
Err...did he graduate from community college or college? The article headline says college, but then the text says East LA Community College, doesn’t it? Kind of a big difference, there.
Not that that's anything but astounding, for an 11 year old!
So is this:
East LA College doesn’t have an astrophysics major.
He graduated with an AA in Liberal Studies.
So you are saying a community college is not a college? The only thing misleading is them saying that he got a degree in astro-physics, I don’t think any CC offers that degree.
His parents home-schooled him instead, but after two years decided college was the best place for him. East L.A. officials agreed to accept him if he enrolled initially in just two classes, math and physical education. After he earned A-pluses in both, he was allowed to expand his studies.
Gee, whenever I think my kids are pretty smart, I read a story like
this! Mine are not prodigies, that’s for sure!
A regular Buckaroo Banzai!
Can’t think of his name, but there’s that little Indian boy (probably a teen or man now) that was doing surgery at 7 years old.
My 15 yr old can put a frozen pizza in oven and cook it.
