Many of the cats were missing fur and appeared to have been cut with a sharp, straight instrument, police said. In all, investigators are looking into about two dozen deaths, with enough evidence to try to prosecute at least 15 of the cases...A month ago, 42-year-old Alicia Glatzer's husband found their cat, Sarah, outside their Palmetto Bay home. Santareia. We are having a rash of such ritualistic events in NYC, particularly in two parks in Queens near very latino immigrant neighnorhoods. There was a series of such events 15 years ago. I can recall passing by Forest Park in Queens at night and seeing burning pyres on the slopes of the abandoned Long Island RR right of way. When I asked the cops they told me Santareia.
