Mrs Don-o wrecked on her bike this morning and has broken bones in both her arms plus a broken left elbow. She will have surgery tomorrow for the elbow.
I left her in good spirits, after she was given some pain medication.
As often happens, we meet angels all along the way - from the folks to stopped at the accident to render assistance and contact me - to the EMT's who transported her - to the wonderful staff at our medical center.

All things happen for good for those that love God(Romans 8:28). The spill may have been a surprise and a shock, but not to our Heavenly Father, who has His reasons. I am thankful that no clavicles or head injuries were involved.
Mrs. Don-O is still the bionic woman! Tell her we are praying for quick healing for her and for strength for you, don-o.
You are absolutely right. No head trauma save a fat upper lip. Her helmet worked to keep her noggin off the concrete. Knees and back not injured at all. No internal injury. Wrists and fingers all OK.
She was riding on the sidewalk, so no motorists were involved. Plus, this happened before Stupid has his way with our health care provision.
We count all blessings.
Now, I need to get back over there. Thanks to all who have or will reply of even pray for us w/o posting.

In the nineties, I rolled down a flight of cement steps, broke my left foot and my right elbow. Not only did I have to scoot on the floor (can’t use crutches with a broken elbow - my family called me “Scooter”) but because I broke my funnybone, I will never be funny again.
